Short School Description
We offer weekly classes for beginners and continuing Tai Chi students based on the Yang-style form created by William C.C. Chen. Our classes are held on Tuesday nights at Yoga Studio Satya, 1581 York Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80918. We also offer classes through the Pikes Peak YMCA. Please see our website for days and times.
Long School Description
Our classes emphasize Tai Chi with Body Mechanics. Tai Chi with Body Mechanics promotes balance, fluidity, strength, calmness, relaxation, and rooting. Body Mechanics also contains powerful qigong movements that promote health and vitality. Our curriculum features William C.C. Chen's 60-movement Yang-style form, sword form, and push hands practice. Through Body Mechanics, you can develop an internal self-awareness that goes beyond Tai Chi practice and becomes part of your everyday activities.
