School of traditional Yang-style practice, including long routine, sword, push-hands, broadsword, stick, cane, and "dispersing hands " (sanshou).
Long School Description
The school was founded by Michael DeMarco, who had over 50 years experience in the arts, with main studies in Taiwan in the system of Grandmaster Xiong Yonghe (1886-1984). Mike also founded Via Media Publishing in 1991, publishing the quarterly Journal of Asian Martial Arts for over 20 years. He continues publishing books on martial topics.
