The Tai Chi Academy established in Toronto since 1975 is the place in North America to study Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan. We offer a thorough yet relaxed and friendly atmosphere for the learning of Tai Chi Chuan. Our curriculum is comprehensive – whether you are interested in health & meditation, martial arts, or just an excellent low impact exercise we have something for you.
Our senior instructors have many decades of experiences and are certified by the International Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan Federation.
Our school provides instruction in both the Yang and Wu styles of Tai Chi Chuan and all their aspects i.e. Forms, weapons, combat applications, push hands, and Chi Kung/Qigong. We also offer Chi Kung classes.
Good quality training Slow Short and Long Forms. SAbre, Spear and Push Hands available for the more advanced students. The Ma family (Ma Yuengliang lineage) has maintained, perfected and standardized the Wu Style of Tai Chi Chuan to an effective art, practiced in various countries throughout the world.
We have been the Tai Chi Center of Cleveland since 1973. My teacher Huang Tzengyu operated it until 2002, after his untimely passing it was passed on to me. I studied with him the last few years most every day, total time spent nearly 20 years.
Jane and Patrick Foley teach Tai Chi as a relaxing, enjoyable exercise. Between us we have over 50 years of experience in the art. We teach regular classes and workshops in Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset UK.
